What are the responsibilities and job description for the Epicor Kinetic ERP Specialist position at Corporate Offices?
The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly experienced Epicor Kinetic ERP Specialist as we are moving away from a reliance on outside consultants and looking for an internal subject matter expert who truly understands the "inner workings" of Epicor.
This role is critical to our growth, ensuring our financial and manufacturing modules are perfectly synchronized with our operational goals. This isn't just a maintenance role; it’s a leadership opportunity within our technical infrastructure. You will have the autonomy to move us away from "general" ERP advice and toward a tailored, high-performance system that reflects the quality of the booths we build.
If you are a power user who can bridge the gap between technical BAQs and real-world shop floor efficiency, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
- System Ownership: Serve as our primary internal expert for Epicor Kinetic, guiding the organization toward system best practices.
- Process Optimization: Design, develop, and maintain Business Process Management (BPM) workflows and advanced Business Activity Queries (BAQs) to improve operational visibility.
- Data-Driven Insights: Create custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide actionable data for leadership and production teams.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure Epicor processes align with our financial objectives and manufacturing throughput.
- Change Management: Lead system optimization initiatives, providing the training and documentation necessary to drive high user adoption.
- Technical Advisory: Conduct trade-off analyses on process changes, clearly communicating benefits and limitations to management.
Required Technical Skills
- Epicor Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic ERP.
- Functional Knowledge: Strong understanding of both Epicor Finance and Manufacturing modules.
- Development: Proven ability to author and manage BPM workflows and BAQ development.
- Reporting: Experience building data-driven workflows and dashboards within the Epicor environment.
Preferred Experience
- Implementation: Background in Epicor setup, configuration, or full-scale implementation.
- Production Planning: Familiarity with manufacturing planning and scheduling processes.
- Integrations: Experience with Vault and CADlink environments is a significant plus.
- Project Management: Experience leading ERP-related operational improvements.
Who You Are
- An Agent of Change: You are comfortable influencing teams and driving process improvements without needing direct supervisory authority.
- A Clear Communicator: You can translate complex technical concepts into plain English for stakeholders at every level of the company.
- A Problem Solver: You have a natural ability to troubleshoot system bottlenecks and implement sustainable, scalable solutions.
- An Educator: You enjoy developing instructional content and helping others master the tools they use every day.
