Youth Counselors are paid via check by mail or PayPal within 10 business days of the event, sent to the address you provide on-site. We do not withhold taxes, so if you earn over $600 with us in a calendar year, you'll receive a 1099 form during tax season.
All staff are required to complete a brief electronic background check and online waiver—a quick process that takes about 5 minutes. We cover the cost of the background check, and once it's completed, it remains valid for several years, allowing you to work future events with us.
After working your first event, you’ll be added to our staff master list, giving you priority for upcoming kids’ camps in your region.
