What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Corporate Image Group?

Today, we supply uniforms, signage, printed materials, and promotional products for businesses across the country—including partners like Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Choice Hotels, Butler Machinery and Accura Healthcare. We also build and manage custom webstores that support 50 national accounts, driving a consistent flow of orders through our production and fulfillment operation.
You’ll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to:
- Own the full accounting cycle — AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships and forecast short-term liquidity needs, including our credit and collections process
- Coordinate with external CPAs for tax filings, audits, and compliance requirements
- Prepare and submit monthly Sales Tax
- Manage and mentor a small team of accounting staff members
- Own and optimize our QuickBooks accounting software
Work, Education & Essentials
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required or demonstrated equivalent work experience in related field
- 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
