What are the responsibilities and job description for the Small Business Controller position at Corporate Identification Solutions?
We are seeking a Small Business Controller to become an integral part of our team. You will oversee daily transaction processing (Customer invoicing, Vendor Bills processing, A/R, A/P, etc.) and the Business Management Department (1 to 2 people). Payroll, 401(k) Plan management, HR coordination (with our outsourced HR consultant), Monthly and Year-End financials, and outside Accountant and Banker interaction are all part of the responsibilities of the job.Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnelSet controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investmentsStandardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniquesConduct internal audits to assess financial statusEnsure compliance with federal and state regulationsServe as primary contact for external accountantQualifications:Previous experience as a Small Business ControllerPrevious knowledge overseeing a small business transaction processing teamFundamental knowledge of GAAPQuickBooks expertDetail accuracy in the area of transaction processingStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDeadline and detail-orientedCompany DescriptionCorporate Identification Solution (“CIS”) is a fast-paced and quickly growing company specializing in the creation of custom signage for customers all across the country.
