IT Support Specialist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will provide technical support to employees, manage service requests, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Your work will be essential in keeping our systems secure, efficient, and up-to-date..
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Resolve IT support requests from employees in a timely and professional manner
- Answer employee questions related to computer systems, software, and hardware
Gather and analyze data to diagnose system issues
Adjust configurations, settings, and permissions to correct technical problems
Set up user accounts and credentials for new hires during the onboarding process
Install and update software, drivers, and system components as needed
Provide regular updates to employees regarding the status of their requests
Log all support requests and update tickets within the tracking system
SKILLS
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic networking knowledge (IP configuration, VPN setup, etc.)
Experience with Active Directory and user account management
Knowledge of software installation, updates, and driver configurations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and documentation
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role
Demonstrated ability to resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and access issues
Experience supporting users in a professional, fast-paced environment
Familiarity with onboarding processes and account setup for new employees
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS (AFTER 90 DAYS)
- Starting Compensation:
$25 per hour
