Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs and maintain health standards.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain trash receptacles to promote cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for quick resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning tasks completed during each shift for accountability and quality assurance.
- Adhere to company policies and environmental regulations related to cleaning products and procedures.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to chemical handling and workplace hygiene practices is a plus.
