We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, focusing on electrical components and requirements.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and PlanSwift to create precise take-offs and estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring adherence to cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review contracts to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Provide support during the bidding process, including preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance estimating accuracy.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating software, particularly Bluebeam and PlanSwift.
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage supplier relationships and contract terms.
- Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards relevant to electrical projects.
