What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate Daily Operations: Manage, schedule, and dispatch drivers efficiently to ensure timely pickups and deliveries across the greater Austin area.
- Monitor Shipments: Track active loads in real-time, proactively addressing any delays, reroutes, or logistical challenges.
- Act as the Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact between our drivers, clients, and internal teams, ensuring seamless handoffs for local shipments and airline freight.
- Provide Customer Support: Deliver exceptional service by updating clients on delivery statuses and resolving any issues quickly and professionally.
- Data & Record Management: Accurately log delivery times, route adjustments, and operational metrics into our dispatch tracking system.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination.
- Strong geographic knowledge of Austin, TX, including major routes and typical traffic patterns.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and the capacity to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Clear, confident communication skills (both written and verbal) for interacting with drivers and clients.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to comfortably navigate dispatching and routing software.
