Job Summary: The Operations Director will oversee a number of significant projects and manage a team of supervisors and hourly employees with a focus on quality, process and systems compliance and total client satisfaction. This position requires humble yet inspirational leadership and presents a wide array of challenges that will drive professional development and growth.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Teach, implement and maintain SOPs to achieve operational excellence
- Follow all safety and security controls per Company SOPs
- Ensure completion of ongoing scheduled projects in additional to ad hoc needs
- Build loyalty and commitment with all direct and indirect reports
- Maintain necessary field product and supplies inventories in partnership with reports
- Effectively handle all field employee concerns and partner with HR to ensure compliance with guidelines
- Promote a high level of quality and customer service; look for ways to improve
- Solve problems at the structural level to ensure long term change
- Proactively and precisely engage with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and brand loyalty; attention to detail regarding communications, whether verbal or written, is critical
- Partner with Company administration to ensure that all necessary procedures and processes are followed
Ideal Candidates’ Qualifications and Experience:
- Extensive experience leading a diverse team of hourly and salaried employees to success
- Proven history of building and supporting operational infrastructure
- Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional client and operational service
- High energy, with ability to work a varied schedule between days and evenings based on operational demands
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Managing teams at multiple locations preferred
- Experience in the hospitality industry (hotels, restaurants, catering) a plus
