We have an evening cleaning floor tech position designed to allow you to work at a comfortable low stress pace. This position is available in comfortable buildings using safe and environmentally friendly company supplied cleaning products and equipment.

Floor Technicians will operate floor care equipment such as auto-scrubbers, floor machines, and burnishers. This Floor Tech will operate individually or as part of a two-person team that will travel together to several client locations in the northeast Indianapolis and Carmel areas. Training will be provided for all duties by the local operations manager.

Evening Shift: Monday through Friday starting at 5:00PM until about 11:00PM. Hours vary slightly based on the particular projects.

Duties

• Work individually or as part of a two-person team to complete floor care projects using provided chemicals, supplies and equipment
• Projects include, but are not limited to: bonneting, encapsulation, stripping, waxing, crystallization, and grout cleaning
• Surfaces include, but are not limited to: carpet, tile, VCT, granite, and terrazzo
• Will act as a backup to fill in for absent cleaners
• Cleaning of suites and common area within a facility
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping/mopping floors, emptying trash cans
• Other duties as required by the local management team

Requirements

• Ability to effectively and positively communicate with fellow employees/supervision
• Prompt and very consistent attendance critical
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform duties with limited communication while in client areas
• Good physical health – job requires good fitness/strength, including an ability to walk throughout the evening, operate larger floor care equipment, and move heavier loads (up to 50lbs.) as required
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to/from work
