Job Summary:
Corpcare Services Inc. is seeking dependable, skilled, and safety-minded Maintenance Technicians to support facility upkeep for American Cancer Society locations in Houston, Dallas, and Lubbock, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for general maintenance, minor repairs, facility inspections, and ensuring a clean, safe, and operational environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong problem-solving skills, mechanical ability, and a commitment to high-quality service and professionalism. Candidates must be punctual, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, flooring, fixtures, painting, etc.)
- Conduct facility inspections and ensure areas are safe and in proper working order
- Replace light bulbs, air filters, and minor building components as needed
- Monitor and report facility issues that require escalation
- Assist with occasional equipment setup or breakdown for events or facility use
- Maintain a neat and organized work area and comply with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and staff regarding maintenance concerns
Qualifications:
✅ Previous maintenance or handyman experience (commercial facilities preferred)
✅ Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and light HVAC repair
✅ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
✅ Excellent communication and time management skills
✅ Must be reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
✅ Must be a non-smoker (no exceptions)
✅ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
