.Job title Client Support – Onsite / Medical Billing Reports to Client Manager Classification Hourly, Non-Exempt Salary: $18.00 -$22.00 per hour* Starting pay varies based on location and experience, in compliance with specific state wage regulations. Competitive rates tailored to your geography and expertise.Job purpose Gathering of necessary information for medical billing and collection, to be forwarded timely to the medical billing office. Duties and responsibilities • Collect information necessary for proper billing of anesthesia claims. Information includes anesthesia charges, patient demographic sheets, operative reports as needed and consent forms as needed, etc. • Scanning charges to home office • Reconciling charges against operating room schedule • Other duties as directed to assist in accurate billing of anesthesia services • Maintain patient confidentiality • Additional duties required by the client. Qualifications • Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel • Must type 40 WPM • Familiarity with basic office equipment printer, phone, fax, copier, etc. • Phone etiquette • High School Diploma or Equivalent Physical Requirements Physical ability to sit, talk, hear for extended periods throughout the work day; stand, walk, push/pull, bend, stoop, kneel and reach on a regular to seldom basis. Repetitive hand motions on a frequent basis including fingering, grasping and handling. Ability to read handwritten and typed documents on paper and/or on computer screens. Position may require travel to various hospital sites to pick up anesthesia charges.
