We collaborate with top furniture manufacturers to deliver flawless installations and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, stage, assemble, and install systems furniture (cubicles, panels, casegoods, seating, integrated power modules).
- Read and interpret manufacturer guidelines, blueprints, and space plans.
- Ensure precise alignment, leveling, and finishing for a polished look.
- Safely handle and use tools, material handling equipment, and electrical components.
- Maintain installation quality, documentation (work orders, photos, timesheets), and work site cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team leads, supervisors, and client representatives.
- Drive company vehicles to and from project sites.
- Travel to other locations as needed, including overnight stays for out-of-town projects.
- Having prior experiance working with the VA office is a plus
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified installer for at least one of the following major systems furniture manufacturers:
- Herman Miller
- Steelcase
- Haworth
- Knoll
- Allsteel
- Teknion
- Technical skill with hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, reliability, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites within and outside the local region.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs on a regular basis; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and crouching during installation tasks.
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 12 feet using ladders or lifts.
- Ability to work in various environments, including active construction sites, occupied office spaces, and warehouse settings.
- Capable of repetitive hand and arm movements for assembly and installation.
- Tolerance for extended periods of standing and physical activity.
