CNUSD will recognize up to 10 years of full time verified certificated experience towards initial salary placement. Post Baccalaureate coursework must be related to the field of education.

Corona-Norco Unified School District prioritizes the hiring of fully credentialed applicants in accordance with Ed Code and CTC policy. Contract Note
Temporary employment contracts may be offered in accordance with California Education Codes 44909 and/or 44920.
English Learner Authorization
Applicants transferring an out of state credential to California will be required to obtain an English Learner Authorization.

  2. Transcripts
    1. Please upload transcripts showing completion of a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
    2. Out of country transcripts may be uploaded along with an evaluation from an agency approved by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. For a list of approved evaluating agencies please, click here.
  3. Resume
  4. Letters of Recommendation
    1. Three (3) professional letters of recommendation signed and dated within the last 3 years. One letter of recommendation must be from a Supervisor.
  5. Complete Application
    1. Employment History must Include: employer, dates, supervisor, phone and your job title (If you do not have prior paid job experience, you may include student teaching, field experience and volunteer work.)
    2. Three (3) Professional References. One reference listed must be a Supervisor. Please include name, organization, phone number, title and email of professional references listed.
