Your Role:
• Examine, review, verify, and control purchasing information within the ERP system to properly issue purchase orders to suppliers for promotional products.
• Expedite purchases already made by contacting suppliers.
• Analyze and recommend actions to resolve supplier problems related to delivery, quality, availability of goods, or other aspects of the purchase agreement.
• Coordinate with Product Managers and suppliers regarding minimum order quantities, delivery lead times, promotional pricing, promotion forecasts, freight routing, and related issues.
• Handle excess promotional inventory and analyze overstocks after promotion periods.
• Work closely with the Distribution facility and Accounting to resolve supplier delivery issues and related invoice errors in a timely manner.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a purchasing role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience using MRP systems.
• Ability to navigate computer programs and manage basic system functions.
