Cornwall Security Services, the premier security provider in Ventura County, is currently hiring a full-time Security Officer for the Thousand Oaks area. Owned and operated by retired law enforcement, our company offers the opportunity to work with industry leaders and grow within the organization.
Schedule:
- Saturday – Sunday: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Monday – Tuesday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Wednesday – Friday: Off
Job Description:
The Security Officer is responsible for providing professional, competent, and courteous security services at a designated post. You will maintain company policies and procedures while operating in a fast-paced environment. Please note that start and finish times may be nontraditional, and work on weekends and holidays may be required.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid California Guard Card
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically capable of walking at a brisk pace, running, and climbing stairs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong report writing skills and a clean driving record
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
- Benefits: Available after 90 days of full-time employment
