Building Assistant (5.75 hrs/day)

Salary:

• $15.45 per hour

Position:

• Five and three quarter (5.75) hours per day
• Nine (9) month position

Paid time off:

Days are pro-rated based on start date with the District and are allocated after successful completion of a 60-day probationary period.

GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

To assist the administration and staff by monitoring students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supervise students in study halls, classrooms, cafeteria, in-school suspension, breakfast, and homerooms as assigned by administration
• Responsible for carrying out duties and assignments as directed by the high school administration
• Assist with student attendance, copying, and in-school suspension/assigned study

OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Provide tutoring to students
• Other duties to be determined by high school administration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma
• Knowledge of subject areas

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
