Role Purpose
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams from concept generation, technology development, detail design / build, and start-up in manufacturing
- Estimate costs and time required to accomplish tasks and manage project scope, budget and schedules
- Identify the project resources necessary to complete the tasks and coordinate the teams’ efforts
- Integrate commercially available technologies and processes and effectively leverage external machine builders and system integrators
- Interface with internal R&D, Division Engineering and manufacturing customers
- Work with other project team members on solving difficult mechanical engineering related problems, understanding project related issues, and general process engineering and process understanding
- Utilize internal lab facilities and equipment to develop proof of concept prototypes
- Executing project assignments with minimal supervision
Required Education
- BS Mechanical, Electrical or other Engineering discipline (B.S. minimum) with 10 years of engineering preferred

Demonstrated project leadership experience with ability to achieve results preferably through a highly matrixed project team
- Ability to clearly communicate technical content to broad audiences and provide concise project strategies, resources needs, and status updates
- Technical leadership skills that will enable unique solutions to technical challenges
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor of Science (Engineering) or Masters of Science (Engineering or Applied Science)
- Green Belt certification
- Black belt (6 Sigma or Innovation) training
- Project and/or manufacturing financial management knowledge
- Knowledge of Innovation Stage-gate processes

The range for this position is $97,542.00 - $134,121.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
