Role Description
The Materials Planning Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Tolleson, AZ. The specialist will collaborate closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to optimize the supply chain. Additional responsibilities include analyzing material forecasts, addressing discrepancies, and working to achieve operational efficiency through effective planning and communication.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical and Planning skills to forecast material requirements, optimize inventory, and support production schedules.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners.
- Knowledge in Finance to track and manage budgets, monitor cost efficiency, and optimize supply chain expenses.
- Proficiency in Customer Service to foster strong relationships with stakeholders and address material-related concerns effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and planning software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in supply chain planning or materials management in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
