Role Purpose
Provide coordination of all housekeeping related activities and projects for Downtown Workplace Services facilities on the evening shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the activities of personnel including housekeeping, laborers, and support supervision for Trades Associates. Ensure compliance with plant rules and policies.
- Manage scheduling of employees.
- Maintain positive union-management relations throughout the Downtown Campus.
- Coordinate special projects and events to ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and personnel are fully utilized.
- Monitor safety and health standards and ensure inspections and corrective actions are completed.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate non-value-added activity.
- Ensure adherence to corporate and division policies, procedures, and processes.
- Oversee operations in absence of supervisor. Provide secondary support for Kronos system.
- Work closely with maintenance personnel to identify and address facility issues. Lead initiatives to improve team and work system performance.
- Work with Vendors and employees on equipment related issues, report key findings and provide quotes/estimates for repairs.
- Help provide work order utilization, distribution, and instruction.
Projects involved with:
- All daily operations and special projects of the housekeeping department.
- Data entry of work orders for operations requirements.
- Order supplies to meet the department’s needs.
- Work on special projects as needed.
- Provide coordination of all housekeeping related activities and projects for the downtown facilities on the evening shift.
Experiences/Education - Required
- A.A.S in related field or applicable equivalent experience.
- 2 yrs experience in facilities/maintenance
- Ability to direct and lead the activities of a hourly workforce.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize work to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to build rapport and maintain a good working relationship with housekeeping team members.
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations.
- Dedicated team player who works well with all payroll levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple locations.
- Ability to train department personnel.
- Technical knowledge of facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure
- Problem solving, prioritization and troubleshooting skills.
Travel Requirements:
- Daily travel is required between Workplace Services locations (locations are all within a 1-mile radius).
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
- 3pm-11pm Mon-Fri; some weekend work.

The range for this position is $50,130.00 - $68,930.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
