Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency with established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with members and guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage beverage orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, accurately processing cash and credit transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the dining experience
• Monitor inventory levels regularly, restock supplies as needed, and communicate shortages or equipment issues promptly
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by verifying legal drinking age and recognizing signs of intoxication

Experience

• Proven bartending experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings with a strong foundation in mixology and beverage presentation
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beer styles, and cocktail recipes; experience in beverage recipe development is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism
• Previous food service or restaurant experience emphasizing hospitality industry standards
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy evening shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, handling cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food safety awareness
