Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Roll-Off Driver with a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate roll-off trucks to transport waste containers and materials efficiently and securely. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a roll-off truck to load, transport, and unload waste containers and materials.
- Drive in compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Load and unload containers at customer sites or designated disposal facilities with precision and care.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records for accountability and compliance.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed during loading/unloading processes while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary to ensure optimal operation.
Experience
- Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers.
- Valid Class B CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated ability in heavy lifting and manual handling of waste containers or materials safely.
- Prior delivery driver experience in a logistics or waste management setting is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge of truck systems including dump mechanisms, hydraulic lifts, load securing devices, and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with load & unload procedures using various truck types in diverse environmentsu.
