Class A CDL Driver – Truss Delivery (Roll-Off Trailer Required)
Job Summary
Cornerstone Truss & Components is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to deliver residential roof and floor trusses to job sites using roll-off trailers. This role is critical to ensuring safe, accurate, and on-time delivery of engineered truss packages to residential construction sites.
· Prior truss delivery experience using roll-off trailers is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver roof and floor trusses to residential and commercial job sites using roll-off trailers
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload truss packages
- Operate roll-off trailer systems to stage trusses accurately on job sites
- Follow all DOT, safety, and company procedures
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logs, and delivery paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch, production teams, and job-site contacts
- Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, or delivery challenges
- Maintain a professional presence on customer job sites
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Truss delivery experience using roll-off trailers (required)
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of load securement and job-site safety
- Ability to navigate residential construction sites
- Strong communication and time-management skills
Preferred Experience
- Engineered lumber or truss delivery experience
- Residential construction or framing site experience
- DOT compliance and driver documentation experience
