About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plate Picker to support our production team by keeping lumber carts stocked with pre-picked plates for designated workstations.
This role plays an important part in maintaining workflow efficiency across the plant. You’ll work in a manufacturing yard environment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure production stations stay supplied and organized.

What You’ll Do
- Pick plates from inventory according to size and specifications listed on production sheets
- Identify approved substitute plates when necessary, following company guidelines
- Stack and organize plates properly for workstation use
- Distribute plates to identified workstations efficiently and accurately
- Assist with inventory counts and request appropriate stock items when needed
- Use pallet jacks to support material movement and inventory tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production flow

Requirements:

Physical Requirements
- Frequently standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Strong depth perception and spatial awareness
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, handle materials, and use hands and fingers regularly
- Comfortable working in loud environments
