Already working on a lawn or landscape crew? You have what we need, and we pay for it.
We work for big home builders from Sarasota to Venice to North Port. We keep their job sites clean and up to code. There is plenty of work, and it keeps coming — all year, not just in season.
Heads up: this is not a lawn job. No mowing. No trimming. No blowing. We put up silt fence on new home construction sites. It is fence work and dirt work — dig, set posts, hang fabric. Same sun, same sweat, different trade. We will teach you the work. You already know how to grind outside — that is the hard part.

The Job
- Pay: $18 to $22 an hour, based on your experience.
- Overtime: Paid after 40 hours.
- Hours: 7:00 AM to about 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays.
- Where: Our Venice yard. You ride with your crew to job sites close by.
What You Will Do
- Put in silt fence. Dig, set posts, and hang fabric. Most of this is heavy work done by hand.
- Help with equipment. Load, unload, and tie down tools and gear each day.
- Keep sites clean. Walk the site with your crew, find problems, and fix them.
- Learn the trade. Your crew leader trains you on the job, starting day one. As you learn, you can run the trencher and other machines.
What You Need
Your lawn or landscape experience counts here. So does irrigation, sod, fencing, or construction work. We will train you on the rest — the silt fence work, the equipment, and the site rules.
Here is what we do need from you:
- You work hard. This is heavy, dirty work outside in the Florida heat, every day.
- You show up. On time, ready to go, every morning.
- You want to learn. Ask questions. Take direction. Get better every week.
- You work well with a team. You pull your weight and look out for your crew.
- A valid driver's license.
