Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, and light trucks
- Perform wheel alignments to optimize vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete mechanical tasks
- Diagnose automotive issues using diagnostic equipment and recommend appropriate repairs or services
- Assist customers by explaining services performed and providing excellent customer service experiences
- Support the shop maintenance operations by handling heavy lifting safely and maintaining a clean work area
Requirements
- Prior tire tech experience and/or mechanic experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of standard passenger car operation and automotive diagnostics
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire service, and minor mechanical repairs
- Ability to perform wheel alignments and basic vehicle maintenance tasks
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to lift heavy tires or equipment regularly and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with automotive service standards is a plus

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
