About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager (PMP certified) to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives within a large-scale IT environment.
This role is ideal for someone who has successfully managed multiple technical projects at the same time, especially in structured or regulated environments. You will work closely with technical teams, leadership, vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and application projects from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage multiple enterprise IT projects simultaneously
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts
- Coordinate across engineers, architects, analysts, vendors, and business teams
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests
- Run meetings, status updates, and executive reporting
- Maintain clear documentation and governance materials
- Ensure smooth transition from project delivery to operations
- Monitor project performance, costs, and key metrics
- Support planning and continuous process improvements
Must-Have Requirements
Candidates must clearly demonstrate ALL of the following:
Experience
- 3 years creating and maintaining project documentation (plans, policies, procedures, training materials)
- 3 years managing IT projects (infrastructure, networking, or applications)
- 3 years of full lifecycle change management experience
- 3 years working with compliance or security standards such as PCI, IRS Publication 1075, or NIST
Certification
- Active PMP certification (required)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- OR
- Equivalent combination of education and 4 years of relevant IT experience
Preferred Experience
- Government or public sector IT projects
- Cybersecurity or information security projects
- Vendor and third-party management
- Business analysis or QA experience
- Metrics reporting and performance tracking
- Work in regulated environments
