What You’ll Actually Do as the Cost Accountant:
- Maintain standard costs, inventory valuation, and cost models
- Prepare cost and variance analysis reports
- Support month-end close activities
- Monitor production costs and identify improvement opportunities
- Track inventory activity, cycle counts, and variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP
What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Cost Accountant:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA a plus)
- 5 years of cost accounting experience, including 3 years in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred (D365 a plus)
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
