Account Manager
Location Fort Worth, TX | Hybrid after 90 days (local candidates only)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $65,000–$70,000 annual base salary (based on experience)
• Commission/bonus opportunity (up to $25K per quarter)
• Total compensation/OTE includes base uncapped earning potential through retention, growth, and offline opportunities
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Approximately 20% travel (local, out of town, and out of state as needed)
ROLE IMPACT
This role drives revenue growth and client retention by managing a book of business, expanding client utilization of products and services, and serving as a strategic partner to customers. Success is defined by strong relationship management, revenue growth, retention performance, and the ability to identify opportunities that strengthen long-term client partnerships. This position directly supports client satisfaction, business growth, and overall account performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow a $2M–$5M book of business through retention, upselling, and growth strategies
• Drive revenue by promoting and expanding client use of products and services
• Serve as a consultative partner by analyzing client needs and recommending effective solutions and implementation strategies
• Train, develop, and support client accounts while managing account-related data and documentation
• Document and communicate client requirements to support project planning and execution
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while responding quickly to inquiries and resolving issues
• Support new business generation efforts, estimated at approximately 30% of the role
• Represent the organization at client meetings, tradeshows, and events as needed
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5 years of experience in account management, client services, consultative sales, or related client-facing role
• Proven track record of revenue growth, client retention, and relationship management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present solutions and influence decision-making
Core Tools & Systems
• CRM systems (Salesforce or similar preferred)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Client account databases and reporting tools
• Internal platforms for pricing, product management, and project coordination
Preferred Skills
• Experience managing and growing an existing book of business
• Background in marketing, print, technology, SaaS, or solution-based sales environments
• Strong consultative selling, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
• High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to identify revenue opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships
