Seeking Experienced Rework Technician (PCB's)

Location: Milpitas, CA
Shift: AM Shift (Full-Time)
Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, DOE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Rework Technician to join our manufacturing team in Milpitas. The ideal candidate has experience repairing and reworking printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), excellent soldering skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform rework and repair on SMT and through-hole PCB assemblies.
• Remove and replace electronic components using proper soldering techniques.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Inspect solder joints and completed repairs to ensure they meet IPC quality standards.
• Follow ESD procedures and all safety and quality requirements.
• Document repairs and communicate issues with production and engineering teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• 1 year of electronics rework or PCB assembly experience preferred.
• Experience with SMT and through-hole soldering.
• Ability to use soldering irons, hot air rework stations, microscopes, and hand tools.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
