We are a manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of high-quality train seating systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to help ensure our products meet strict safety, durability, and performance standards. This role is critical in maintaining the comfort, reliability, and compliance required for rail industry applications. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet established quality standards and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Document and report inspection results accurately
- Maintain organized records of quality checks and procedures
- Assist in developing and improving quality control processes
- Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times
- Inspect train seat components and finished products for quality, fit, and functionality
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming materials and report findings
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow technical instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous quality control experience in manufacturing or assembly
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems
- Experience working with mechanical or upholstered products is a plus
Pay: $18.00
Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm
Schedule: Monday - Friday
