We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Custodian to join our team! This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Position Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
- Empty trash and recycling
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies
- Assist with maintaining a safe and orderly school environment
- Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance tasks
- Follow proper safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor
- Assist with occasional setup and cleanup for school activities and events
Qualifications
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but training can be provided
Schedule & Pay
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM
- Pay: $17–$18/hour
- Consistent evening schedule
