F/T Communications Firm Direct Mail/Production Staff Position

Cornerstone Services, Inc. ("CRST"), a direct mail/data/web communications firm, based in New Paltz is looking for a full-time (9-5 | 40 hrs/wk) staff member in the Production/Operations area. The position combines working with mailing equipment and peripheral, networked printers.

You must have a clean drivers license, live in proximity to our location, and, understand that there are cyclical highs and lows (i.e. busy times of year requiring occasional overtime) throughout the year due to the nature of our industry. We are ideally looking for someone with a 4-year college degree and demonstrable work experience. You do not have to have industry experience to apply, but of course, it would help. The position requires a combination of brains and brawn. There will be significant onsite as well as professional training regarding both equipment and mailing knowledge. After a successful 60 day trial period, and the passing of NYS Driver Safety training, required professional certification immediately follows.

Here are some specific qualities we hope to see:

· intelligence, common sense, cooperativeness and attention to detail;

· cheerful and collaborative work disposition along with comfort re: phone/email communication with both staff and clients;

· familiarity with IBM/PC desktop software (e.g. GoogleWorkShare, MS Office, unique-but-learnable industry printing and addressing software, etc.)

· a strong command of the English language (written/verbal);

· clean NYS Drivers License ("clean" = no points); and,

· healthy, fit and able to to lift/move boxes and mailing trays.

PER HOUR RATE: Based upon related experience. Your starting hourly pay rate will reflect industry knowledge and your ability to be a "quick start" and fast learner.
