Cornerstone Residence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee nursing services in our assisted living community. This role offers a flexible weekday schedule, minimal on‑call demands, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on resident care and staff support.
Full‑Time (64-80 hrs./week) ~ Monday–Friday ~ Flexible Schedule, on call rotation (primarily phone calls - clinical judgement questions)
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will ensure that the health care needs of all residents are met. The RN will ensure that staff is trained in assisted living procedures and policies which are current and up to date. The RN will also ensure that Cornerstone Residence is in compliance with current Assisted Living License regulations. Working cooperatively with the Clinical Nurse Supervisor and Assisted Living Director (ALD) to supervise the delivery of services provided to the residents and supervises staff.
Responsibilities
- Ensure resident healthcare needs are met and care plans are followed
- Complete assessments, reassessments, and service plan updates
- Oversee medication management and physician orders
- Supervise and train unlicensed staff
- Maintain compliance with Minnesota assisted living regulations
- Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and caseworkers
Qualifications
- Current Minnesota RN license, in good standing
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience (assisted living or long‑term care preferred)
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Compassion and commitment to quality resident care
