Job Description

By matching potential residents with their perfect home or apartment, you will be providing a valuable service to your community.
As a Leasing Agent at Cornerstone Rentals MGT, you will be working in an exciting, fast-paced environment. To be successful, you will need to be organized, excellent at communicating/follow-through, and willing to try new things. Initiative and ability to learn are essential.
You will be responding to ads, answering calls, showing apartments/houses, offering incentives, processing paperwork, and walking clients through the lease-signing process, along with other responsibilities. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background and credit investigation results.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in customer service directly meeting customer needs and/or resolving customer concerns
- 1 year of experience resolving customer issues
- Ability to meet/exceed performance goals
- Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
- Experience developing strong customer relationships
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to interact professionally and ethically with customers, vendors, and team members
- Strong technology skills
- Experience in Appfolio software preferred
Job Expectations
- Ability to work weekends and evenings. Many people search for rental apartments or houses on weekends or evenings, and qualified candidate must be willing to show apartments and sign leases at times convenient for potential customers.
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities as a team player. You will be expected to maintain a team-player attitude while working with management, maintenance, bookkeeping, and vendors, etc.
- Ability to see what needs to be done and do it. Self-starter who is willing to take initiative.
- 2/3 days in West Fargo, with ability to travel to Valley City the remaining work days.
