This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist, based in Elizabethtown, KY. The Occupational Therapist will assess and evaluate patients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote recovery, independence, and improved quality of life. Primary responsibilities include implementing therapeutic interventions, monitoring progress, recording and documenting patient outcomes, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Educating patients and caregivers on managing conditions and improving daily functionality is also a key aspect of this role.
- Experience with patient assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions
- Strong skills in collaboration and communication with interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and patient progress monitoring
- Ability to educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and care plans
- Active occupational therapy license in Kentucky or eligibility to obtain one
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
