What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Cornerstone Recruiting?
We are currently seeking an Estimator in the Beltsville, MD area for a Specialty Construction Contractor. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in the estimating field on masonry and concrete resotration projects. Candidates must have specific knowledge in bidding government and private work.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret plans and specifications in order to provide timely quantity survey, pricing of material, equipment and other items for our scope of work in order to provide a complete conceptual estimates
- Prepare comprehensive construction bid summary
- Establish methods and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Strong organization skills
- Understanding conceptual estimating
- Knowledge of construction documents and methods
- Experience in estimating
- Experience with On Screen Take Off and Timberline Estimating Software
Pay range $125,000 to 150,000 plus benefits.
