We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join a general contractor who has been in business for over 100 years. They perform commercial construction builds to include; industrial, mixed use, education, medical/labs, etc. They are a family oriented company that understands how to take care of their employees. This is a direct hire position with full benefits.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate project plans and specifications to determine requirements and scope
- Collaborate with peers and project team to acquire necessary information
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and demands of projects
- Research and evaluate bids and proposals
- Analyze and negotiate contracts with subcontractors
- Prepare detailed take offs and quantity surveys
- Create comprehensive bid packages and present to clients
Qualifications
- 5 Years of proven experience in Construction Estimating
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Proficient in using construction estimating software (ProEst preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
