Horse-Drawn Carriage Driver

We are seeking an experienced carriage driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for taking guests on horse-drawn wagon and sleigh rides through scenic trails and providing an enjoyable and educational experience for our guests. Responsibilities:

- drive a sleigh or wagon through designated trails

- Ensure the safety of guests during horse-drawn rides

- Educate guests about the rich history of horse-drawn rides and some fun-facts; know about wildlife, flora, and fauna

- Communicate effectively with guests, answering questions and providing information

- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times

- Assist with the care, grooming and harnessing of horses before and after rides

- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition

- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a carriage driver or similar role preferred

- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests

- Strong time management skills to ensure timely departures and arrivals

- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to accommodate diverse guests

- Leadership skills to guide and manage groups of riders effectively

- Public speaking skills to engage and educate guests during trail rides

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- Must be physically fit and able to handle horses confidently

- High school diploma or equivalent
