Job Description
The Pharmacist Manager will be responsible for managing the pharmacy’s day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer care. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team environment and is dedicated to ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including scheduling and workflow management.
* Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations.
* Process and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
* Collaborate with other departments (customer service, billing, inventory control, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and strong patient flow.
* Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and other applicable health standards.
* Provide guidance and training to pharmacy staff.
Qualifications
* Associate’s degree or higher in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician from an accredited school.
* Minimum 1 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting.
* Valid pharmacist license.
* Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, squat, and climb stairs.
