Overview
Develop the Cornerstone brand through coordination of Business Development activity and internal/external messaging.
This position has the flexibility to work from home or at our corporate office in Eden Prairie, MN. Some travel may be required. This position requires significant business development relationships in either Mpls-St. Paul, MN, Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, and/or Tampa/Orlando, FL areas.
Responsibilities
- Organize business development activity, pipelines and reporting.
- Direct and manage consistent internal and external messaging that reinforce the Cornerstone culture, brand, and product.
- Manage the proposal response process including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, an input from internal/external sources.
- Produce written material, collateral, and presentations that nurture business opportunities.
- Identify business opportunities within each target market and coordinate acquisition strategies.
- Direct and lead executive team toward networking relationships that will foster business growth.
- Develop a process for oversight and review of proposed new business opportunities.
- Develop partnerships with each market leader and the regional oversight team to support the growth of each market.
- Develop relationships with existing and potential clients that will lead to scope creep and new business.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team on strategy and budget targets that will promote the Cornerstone mission.
- Help identify and grow leaders in the operations division that have a propensity and skill set toward business development activity.
- Significant business development relationships in Mpls-St. Paul, MN, Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, and/or Tampa/Orlando, FL is required.
- Previous experience in the hospitality, service delivery, or related industry.
- Prior Business Development acumen.
- Excellent oral presentation, copywriting, editing and creative work-product skills.
- Attention to detail, organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Previous customer service/client relationship experience required.
- Dependable, a team player, can roll up sleeves and adapt to a changing environment.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a keen business sense.
- Able to travel up to 25% (may vary).
- Existing professional relationships.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma//GED.
- Associate or bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, email, and internet.
