What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Cornerstone Minerals?
Cornerstone Minerals & Natural History specializes in the sales of minerals, fossils, jewelry and natural home decor. We have a small, tight-knit staff and are looking for a new sales associate to work part-time in our Savannah Store.
Applicant must be up-beat, people and sales oriented and have a willingness to learn about minerals and fossils. Since you will need to identify stones by sight, previous knowledge is preferred and if applicable, will be tested upon interview.
We offer a competitive retail wage and commission. Work will entail 2-3 shifts per week: totalling 10-15 hours with the possibility for more hours during the Holiday Season. Hiring for training and start by April 11. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift objects between 15 to 40 pounds.
