What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cornerstone Equipment- PDI Tech / Delivery Driver position at CORNERSTONE INDUSTRIAL SERVICES LLC?
- Perform detailed inspections on new and used equipment prior to delivery.
- Complete manufacturer PDI checklists accurately and thoroughly.
- Test all systems to ensure proper operation and functionality.
- Install required accessories, attachments, and add-ons.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct any issues before delivery.
- Safely transport and deliver equipment to customer locations.
- Provide hands-on operational training and walk-around demonstrations to customers.
- Obtain delivery sign-off and ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted.
- Previous experience with agricultural, construction, or power equipment preferred
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough inspections and identify potential issues
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to complete digital forms, checklists, and documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain equipment operation and procedures to customers
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude during all interactions
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL may be preferred depending on equipment)
- Ability to lift, load, and secure equipment as needed (including working outdoors in various weather conditions)
