What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced CNA/CHHA – Veteran Home Care position at Cornerstone Home Health, Inc?
We are seeking an experienced, energetic Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide (CNA/CHHA) to provide one-on-one care for a veteran client in the Sayre, OK area.
This client primarily needs assistance with bathing, grooming, and personal care. We are looking for a dependable, compassionate CNA/CHHA who is comfortable working independently in the home and providing respectful, quality care.
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 20-25 hours per week. Scheduling can be flexible within the client's care needs.
Additional Hours Available: Applicants willing to travel may have opportunities to pick up additional hours with clients in the Canute area.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed
- Provide companionship and support
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Follow the client's established plan of care
Requirements
- Current CNA/CHHA certification
- Previous CNA/CHHA or home care experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Dependable attendance and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a client's home
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to provide professional references

Potential Additional Hours: Canute, Oklahoma
