About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, highly social media-savvy Content & Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team at Cornerstone – a high-energy sports bar, restaurant, and nightlife venue in the heart of College Park.
In this role, you’ll lead our content and digital marketing strategy across all key platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok, to help build our brand, drive engagement, and bring people through our doors. From capturing live events to managing digital campaigns, you’ll be the voice and vibe of our online presence.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and execute a platform-specific content strategy that aligns with our brand goals and drives traffic and engagement.
- Capture, edit, and post high-quality photo and video content weekly for Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms.
- Manage additional marketing needs, including menus, website updates, in-venue materials, and email campaigns.
- Work closely with our design and operations team to keep branding sharp, content fresh, and messaging consistent.
- Build and maintain a seasonal and annual marketing calendar and budget, keeping projects on time and within spend targets.
- Be on-site regularly during both daytime and evening hours to capture the energy and culture of our space — from lunch rush to DJ nights.
- Research trends, analyze competitors, and stay on top of what’s working in hospitality marketing and content.
- Report on content performance and key metrics weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
- Provide day-to-day marketing support to venue leadership and collaborate directly with our VP of Marketing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience creating video/photo content and managing communities on Instagram, TikTok, and more.
- At least 1-2 years of marketing experience in the hospitality, bar, or nightlife space, preferably in the DMV area.
- Excellent copywriting skills — your captions should stop the scroll.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic website editing (or willingness to learn).
- Knowledge of SEO and email marketing best practices is a plus.
- Passion for the world of food, drinks, music, and hospitality — and the ability to turn that into compelling content.
- Comfortable working primarily Monday–Friday with some evenings/weekends to capture live content during events (you’ll be compensated with food/drink spend for you and your crew!).
