What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities and Maintenance Technician position at Cornerstone General Contractors?
FACILITIES & MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – Keep Alaska’s Buildings Working
TurnKey Property Solutions | Anchorage | Juneau | Fairbanks, Alaska
More than a maintenance job. An opportunity to solve problems, own your work, and see the results every day.
At TurnKey Property Solutions, we don’t just maintain buildings; we protect our clients’ investments and keep the places where people work and operate performing the way they should.
Backed by Cornerstone General Contractors, TurnKey provides facility maintenance, building repairs, preventative maintenance, capital improvements, and property management services for commercial owners throughout Alaska.
We’re looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Technician who wants more than a list of work orders; someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working with their hands, interacting with customers, and taking ownership of getting the job done right.
WHY FACILITY MAINTENANCE (Why This Role Matters)
Commercial buildings never stop working, and neither do the systems and people responsible for keeping them running.
Facility maintenance puts you at the center of that responsibility. One day you may be troubleshooting a building system, the next completing a repair, inspecting equipment, coordinating a contractor, or helping complete a tenant improvement.
It’s work that requires technical ability, versatility, judgment, and customer service. More importantly, you get to see the impact of what you do every day.
For someone who enjoys variety, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work, facility maintenance offers a career where no two days have to look the same.
