We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who wants to build their skills, contribute to meaningful work, and grow within a stable, Alaska-based company.
What You’ll Do:
• Process and manage vendor invoices (Accounts Payable)
• Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
• Support payroll processing and certified payroll tracking
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records and support audits
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in one or more of the following: accounting, AP, payroll, or reconciliations
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Compensation & Benefits:
• $46K–$60K DOE (with growth opportunities)
• Bonus potential up to 15%
