Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greets and directs clients and visitors.
- Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
- Company mail management, including the preparation/scheduling of outgoing packages.
- Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
- Conference room, breakroom, and supply room management.
- Workstation set-up for new hires.
- Coordinates and schedules building & landscaping maintenance
- Coordinates and schedules meetings, travel and appointments as needed.
- Ordering and picking up lunches as needed.
- Assist with recruiting and resume processing.
- Assist the accounting department as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proofread.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
- Basic understanding of accounting
- Ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of office equipment
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work full-time.
- Pay range varies from $20/hr. to $30/hr. dependent on experience.
- High school graduate.
- 2-3 years of clerical work experience
- Accounting support experience is a plus, specifically accounts payable
- Adobe and /or Blue Beam
- Passion for delivering excellence to our internal and external clients.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
