Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and foundational math skills for Preschool
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction among toddlers
- Engage children in hands-on activities that support motor skills, language acquisition, and emotional regulation
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies to foster cooperation and respect
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, assessments, and individualized plans for each child to support early intervention if needed
Requirements
- Prior experience working with toddlers in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is essential
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies
- Proficiency in curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education activities, and Montessori methods preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing preparation when appropriate for early assessment purposes
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable
- Passion for working with children and a commitment to their welfare and overall development
