Job Summary

Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service with professional phone etiquette and a positive attitude
- Schedule patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate and timely bookings
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes using systems like Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary
- Maintain accurate and organized medical records, dental records, and documentation review processes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical history forms and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) such as eClinicalWorks or Dentrix
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), billing support, and appointment reminders to enhance office workflow
Qualifications
- Strong christian with strong family values
- Knowledge of Russian is required
- Prior experience in a dental office setting with strong knowledge of clinical terminology including dental terminology ,coding (ICD-10, CPT coding) is highly preferred
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (Open Dental) is highly preferred
- Excellent computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and health information management systems
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Demonstrated experience in dental billing, insurance verification, or front desk duties within a healthcare environment is desirable
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing processes
- Outstanding communication skills with a professional demeanor suitable for patient service excellence
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment while maintaining a friendly attitude
